Vacuum ball valve is a type of vacuum valve developed in the 1990s. Its working principle is similar to a vacuum butterfly valve, which opens and closes the valve by rotating a ball fixed on the rotating shaft by 90 °. Vacuum ball valves have a faster opening and closing speed than vacuum butterfly valves, while their volume and leakage rate are larger than those of vacuum butterfly valves.

2. The form and performance parameters of vacuum ball valves
Vacuum ball valves come in three forms: manual, electric, and pneumatic.
a. There are three types of vacuum ball valves produced in China: manual (GU type), pneumatic (GUQ type), and electric (GUD type).
b. There are two types of vacuum pressure ball valves produced in China: pneumatic (GQQ type) and electric (GQD type). The technical performance parameters of these two types of vacuum pressure ball valves are: the leakage rate is less than or equal to 1.3 × 10-4Pa · L/s; The operating pressure range is 10-4~1.6MPa; The working temperature is -30~150 ℃; The material of the valve body and sphere is 316L; The sealing material is reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene and fluororubber; Using a 1/4 rotary pneumatic (or electric) actuator, the operation is stable, and the valve opens and closes with electrical signals output.
